Transition Year Residential Programme
Barretstown are offering a new Residential Transition Year (TY) Experience in 2022 and 2023. They are hosting 5-day & 4-night, all-inclusive residential programmes for TY students. The focus is on FUN & SELF DEVELOPMENT.
This is a fantastic residential experience hosted on Barretstown 500-acre campus in Co. Kildare. Programmes run Monday to Friday, and are run throughout the academic school year. Some of the topics on offer include; leadership, problem solving, communication, and decision making. Students engage in teamwork with class mates and learn through fun activities. Students also gain insights into the work of Barretstown, and how the organisation supports children and families affected by serious illness.
The team at Barretstown are highly skilled and knowledgeable, and students are certain to learn from the whole experience. In addition, the creative learning spaces include; teaching spaces, media studio, outdoor activities and garden area.
Full board included and catering to school groups of between 25-75 students.
